Emma Lankester

BSc (Hons) Veterinary Physiotherapist MIRVAP(VP) MRAMP

​

Optimum Veterinary Physiotherapy was established in 2024 by Emma Lankester who received a BSc First Class (Honours) degree from Harper Adams University. Emma has a particular interest in biomechanics and during her time at university, completed trail which analysed how different water depths on an underwater treadmill influence spinal movement in dogs. Since graduating, Emma has gained accreditation from the IRVAP and RAMP registers which require regular continued professional development to stay up to date with the latest advancements in the profession.

Having worked alongside animals from a young age, Emma is hugely invested in in using evidence-based practice to improve the function and quality of life of her patients. Emma also understands the emotional and financial toll of having an injured pet, having been through rehabilitation journeys of her own with her dog and horse, both with degenerative conditions.
